  • Development Topic Removal Problem? - Development
Posted by David Kanter (Thursday June 29 2000 @ 01:16AM EDT) views: 206
When I kill a topic, the bullet point still stays there, but the topic word goes away. Don't think I saw this raised earlier. (I'm using 0.2.4 so it could have been fixed.)

Just to clarify, I *am* using the latest versio 0.2.4. n. What happened was that I had 4 topics

    General
    Geek
    Space
    Linux
    Coffee Talk

    I then killed "Space".
Space got killed as requested, but then the "coffee talk" topic name got removed from the Topic block, and from the HTML drop down menu when choosing which topic to post to. Anyone else had this problem?

if you read this in the next 30 minutes, you will see what I mean at http://dmkanter.dyndns.org/phpweblog/

After that my crontab kills the ppp connection ;) -- I'm at work!
(Hong Kong charges by the minute for "PNET" internet usage, even if your ISP doesn't.)

Yes, sorry for the lack of documented notes. This is a known bug in 0.2.4, along with a few others. All the later versions take care of this.
