Mysql does not allow tablenames with an underscore in the table name. How does PHPWeblog get around this problem?

You're joking right? I just went to a mysql prompt and successfully created a table named "hi_there" in version 3.22.34. I use tables with underscores in thatware too and never had a problem.

I know an underscore is a SQL wildcard, but I can't find anywhere that using this character in a MySQL table name is illegal. I've always using underscores in my table names and have never run into problems. ?? Nothing is mentioned about this in the MySQL documentation (the create table section)

Same here, I have underscores all over the place. Maybe you're using an older version(
