One definate necessity for phpweblog is the ability to define _where_ a block is going to show up.

At the moment I have my home-brewn blocks on the right side of the screen, while I have my siteblocks on the left side. However, any RDF backends that i add will show up above top 5 stories and poll results. I clearly don't want this.

Another thing: any "complete pages" that I include, I would like to have in a block on the side, instead of included in the top menubar as things are currently.

As far as the bug is concerned: the "older stories" block displays all story entries as a seperate entry, instead of nicely grouped by day (as on this site). Anyone got a clue why that might be happening?

and yeah, ofcourse it's quite easy to hack the block.inc.php file and make the userblocks show up last. But a configuration option for it would be nice ofcourse :)

More features: ability to disable the "topics" block on the left, without immediately disabling the option to sort your stories under a topic (since you can still add the images to a story).

Dynamic "Top" block. I like top 10 a lot better than top 5 =)

Yeah. Slashdot has about a billion topics, so they don't have room for something like a topic block. How about a last five topics thingy, like Slashdot/squishdot/scoop offers?

    Maybe something for 0.5.0.

How about an archive feature? The name of the software is phpweblog, and a weblog is generally defined as something like scripting news or a weblogs.com kind of thing. Most of those sites use Blogger (http://www.blogger.com/) and it has an archiving feature that goes back to the beginning of time. :)

Yup. Archiving would definately be a way cool (and quite necessary) feature.
