  • Access Denied while Add/Update lay-out
Posted under Development by enternu on Tuesday August 08 2000 @ 08:54AM EDT
Development Since I wanted to run a second copy of phpWeblog on the same virtual server and same database, I copied all the files and renamed all the tables form T_ to X_
I also changed the .sql files from T_ to X_

After uploading the whole package, and creating the new tables in the same database, my weblog sites runs fine. Excellent.

Unfortunately I am unable to fix one problem:

When I try to change the lay-out of the copied package site I get an error on 'add/update' which appears in my browsers addressbar: ?msg=Access+Denied

I've looked into the permission settings on the 'backend' and 'layout' folders. Nothing there.

    Anyone?? I'm pretty desperate.... :-(

I fixed it myself (thanx everybody for your support ;-))

I found out that changing the table names (T_ to X_) also changed some statements in the following files: pollbooth.php, preview.php, and submit.php

The statement affected was: HTTP_POST_VARS, the T_ in POST_ was also changed.....
