Re page included in index.php?

Is it possible to include one of the pages in the index.php page rather than judt stories?

Iain,
Not easily, but if you go into the 'Content Manager' anything you put in the 'Welcome' box appears on the index page above the stories.

On earlier versions it did seem possible to create a page and have that as the main index ... things move on I guess!
