Staying logged in as admin

Great work, but is there any way to ever stay logged as admin ? Tried to tweak the setcookie's but it doesn't matter ! Any clue?

Just installed 0.5.3, and I have this problem. I note that auth.inc.php does a login using $Username and $Password, but doesn't check if they're in the $SESSION array, and retrieve them. Nor does init.inc.php. I've searched this site, and not noticed any bugfixes for this. Am I missing something obvious?
