An addon I'm coding allows users to comment on items in the addon. Because the addon is called thru pages.php?node= etc. I use $SELF to link back to the addon.
I also use $SELF&something=something in the where-argument to F_postComment so after posting I land back where I startet, but since $SELF is relative to the DOCUMENT_ROOT, not the G_URL, I'm in trouble if the Site resides not in the document root but in a subdirectory.
Any clever Ideas how to fix that without having to modify submit.php, edit.php and kill.php (thus screwing up with the next update) ???

Well, this could be one of the problems with the addon integration. I haven't really played with it much.

If you are seeing a problem with how $SELF is declared, maybe you could post a better way of how to handle this in pages.php.
