    Convert polls.php to survey.php views: 365
    Development By Ken Farmer (65.165.212.---) on Tuesday July 10 2001 @ 10:33AM EDT [ Development ]
I'm trying to create a survey. It would contain multiple questions. Could it be possible to convert polls.php to survey.php? Instead of having one question and multiple answers you could have multiple questions and answers on the page. The admin page could be the same way, multiple questions and answers.

I'm not well versed in php but can tinker. It "seems" that this conversion could work well. Of course I wouldn't begin to know what all is involved to do this.

I added phpESP. Seems to work ok. I'm going to try and change the format a little. How can you drop a cookie so people can't do survey more than once? Any ideas?

What is your url? I'd like to see how you implemented it.

I'm running mine on an intranet, so you can't really look at it.

You can mess with the style a bit, by editing the render_survey fuction in /path/to/phpESP/admin/include/funcs_render.inc
but I don't worry about it too much.

A few edits to the phpweblog style sheet can spruce it up a little.

I haven't figured out a way to restrict multiple submitters, yet. Mostly because I can't figure out how to pass variables (like cookies) through phpweblog to the underlying page. If you get it working, let me know.
