  • Problem with wap
    Posted under General by Joe on Monday July 02 2001 @ 05:08AM EDT

    Hi,

    I'm using PWL... And I try to use Wap interface.This is my configuration:

    Server: Apache/1.3.9 (Unix)
    Debian/GNU PHP/3.0.18

    For use eap.php I must comments this:
    #$trans=get_html_translation_table (HTML_ENTITIES);
    #array_walk ($trans, 'literal2numeral');
    #reset($trans);

    But sometimes I have this error [debug]:

    TTP/1.1 200 OK
    Date: Mon, 02 Jul 2001 08:59:20 GMT
    Server: Apache/1.3.9 (Unix) Debian/GNU PHP/3.0.18
    X-Powered-By: PHP/3.0.18
    Pragma: no-cache
    Cache-Control: no-cache, must revalidate
    Connection: close
    Content-Type: text/vnd.wap.wml; charset=iso-8859-1
    ?xml version="1.0" ?>

    What can I do?

    Thanks,
    J

    You may want to email Lirone Chimoni lirone@lirone.com about this. He is the contributor for the wap interface.

    The problem is that you are using php3 you comment the line that convert special caracters so when there is special caracter in the body the wap/xml parser don't interpret the code and you get the error !!! :(
    Upgrade to php 4.x if you can't contact me i will try to create these function in php 3 :)
