    One question... views: 272

I noticed that you might implement user logins and such for the next version. Instead of doing this, why not assign multi-tiered administration/moderation levels so it's easier for us admins to keep track of who is doing what on the site, and limit their access?

If I wanted a user login and such, I'd go with phpWebSite or PHPNuke or something along those lines. Your application is fine as it is, just need extensive moderation features.

    Thanks!

    I agree

Phpweblog is fine to me because it is easy to implement and lightweight for the server.

If i'd want something complicate i'd go to nuke but I don't

    Thanks

Agreed, user login is not something I need, or would want tbh.

Giving other admins the ability to only moderate new stories and links would be *very* nice though.

I would strongly agree with the above comments about creating a "user" system for phpweblog.

If you (the developers that is) want to go ahead with it then please at least make it optional :)

I have spent a long time looking for a good script without all of the resource hungry bells and whistles of something like phpnuke.

A moderator system where the site admin can give various levels of access to to other "sub admin" people would be the real "killer app" as far as I'm concerned.

    Thanks for the script :-)
