  • Attachements?
Posted under Development by Malachii on Tuesday May 15 2001 @ 06:31AM EDT
Development I see this has been brought up, and even see references to it in the weblog code, but is there a attache or upload built in? I probably am just a moron and am missing it. I see in the language files the define attachement and whatnot. Where is the config for it?

This was started in 0.5.0, but due to complications, it was becoming clear that a better solution was needed. As of now, story attachments are not in place.

For us newcomers... please tell us your previous and current thinking on this subject...
    * what about uploads was _not_ okay
    * what approach would be better

Was the previous "attachment" approach linked to specific topics?

I'd like to see users able to upload files into a "Topic" folder that was accessible as part of the Topic screens.

AS I learn how this (great) application works - I'll do whatever I can to contribute, starting with this project if there's enough interest and ideas out there.

    Cheers - Tom
