  • phpAdsNew - General
Posted by Ken Farmer (Saturday April 07 2001 @ 04:14PM EDT) views: 198
Just installed phpAdsNew. I've read the comments here about installing but...

The other comments state to ad require() and view()in header.in.php where it states to INSERT BANNER HERE.

I've added the require() and view() before and after F_drawHeader() and it always puts the banner before the logo or under the menu bar and displays errors. Could someone put the their code snipit here for all to see?

    Thanks,
    Ken

What are the errors that it shows? That comment, INSERT BANNER HERE, is meant for placing a banner at the very top of the page, above the logo and search area. You will have to add it elsewhere in the header if you want it in a different place.

I'm trying to add the banner to the right of the logo. The banner does show either before and above the logo or under the navbar with a few errors in blocks.inc.php and common.inc.php

    Abreviated Errors:

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource
    blocks.inc.php on line 46
    common.inc.php on line 99
    index.php on line 88
    common.inc.php on line 160
    blocks.inc.php on line 46
    common.inc.php on line 99

Hope this gives some clue. I get these errors with view() before and after F_drawHeader(), the banner just changes places to above or below.

Do I need to put requier() and view() in F_drawHeader?

    Ken
