  • Overriding Link Color
Posted under Development by Glenn on Tuesday February 13 2001 @ 11:30PM EST

Development Just wondering why it is I can't override the default link color (#000000) from the layout panel with a <font color="#FFFFFF"> tag.

Anyone have any idea where I went off the tracks?

    Thanks a lot.

take a look at the css section in header.inc.php. the css style over rides your font definition. it should reference the use of an array $layout[]. those settings you can set at the admin menu.

Thanks for the note. Actually about 95 seconds after I posted the message last night I went exploring in header.inc.php and found the title class and then actually read admin/layout and found "Story Title Text" which configures the CSS class. Sheesh.

    Thanks again for the reply.
