How to fix the Error on Nexen.net
Posted under General by King Louie (---.pool.mediaways.net) on Tuesday February 13 2001 @ 02:10PM MST
    Hi Jason!

I`ve got a message from the Nexen.net supporter about the problems with PHPWeblog!
    _______________________________________________
Your troubles are linked to magic quotes. when PHP meets " or ', it adds a
backslash, so you end up with
color=\"#.... which is not understood by browser.
    You must use
    set_magic_quotes_runtime(0);
at the beginning of your scripts to get rid of it.
    _______________________________________________

Would it be possible for you to fix it? I would be very happy, if it would be possible!

    Greetings
    King Louie

they give you access to your own .htaccess file, then enable that there.

I have the same prob with phpweblog & nexen.net.

Yeah we've got a pseudo-access to our htaccess file but...

How to use the code "set_magic_quotes_runtime(0);" ?

Very difficult stuff for young unix users.

    Thanks dudes
