Jason, would it be a lot of work to incorporate $siteslogan in header.tmpl?
What do you think? I know I'd use it.

Anyone ever tryed to put a banner in the place where we have the seach box? i know i have but i was unnable :| i want to put advertisements in that place, instead of being in the top of the page. Anyone can give me a hand?

i did this a while back as a test. what i did was made a new variable called $ad in hmm. i think it was layout.inc.php or some' like that. then that variable is available for you in your templates. i assigned $ad the output of my function to draw the ad.. in this case it was a modified version of phpadsnew.
