  • Possible bug in 5.0
Posted under General by adobo on Saturday February 03 2001 @ 02:08AM EST

I upgraded to 5.0 (good work by the way)
I then added my new links to the link section.
I put in a description, but when you goto edit or move them to a category it loses the description and puts in the date instead of the description. Very minor annoying bug at best. Overall good job with 5.0.

< cool idea - stop me if you've heard it... | /admin/index.php shows error >

    Hi,
maybe there is another small bug?
I run 0.5 on PHP3 and it seems to run. But when editing blocks the follwing error occurs:
Parse error: parse error, expecting `'}'' in /home/sites/site146/web/admin/edit.php on line 154
Does anybody know what to do?

Ok, if you look at admin/edit.php, around line 154, you'll see a default: stanza and a T_LinkCats: stanza. Move the default stanza so that it is after the T_LinkCats: stanza. I'm guessing that this didn't work in php3. If that doesn't make sense, I'll post a patch.

The above fix was for the comment by xdaniel, by the way.

    that works fine. Thanks.

I thought the default case always needed to be the last case.

I am having the same problem. After adding a link, if I edit it, it shows the date instead of the description, the EMAIL ends up getting NULLED, and the CATEGORY get RESET.

Is this fixed already? I am using 0.5.0
