  • Development HTML Parsing - Development

There is a problem with the "Allow full HTML" parse level.
Latest Unstable - as of 12/8/00
I am also running 0.4.2, and it works fine.

This level works great when entering plain text, like I am now, adding double line breaks where there are double returns. But, when a user inserts some HTML, a table for example, it inserts too many line breaks. The result is that the table is squished way down to the bottom of the page, with a giant field of blank space above. This can be avoided if the user inserts the HTML in one continuous line (not very pretty).
I could, of course, set the parse level to "No Action", but then my users who only want to enter plain text are forced to learn some HTML (not pretty either).
