Error: Unable to insert story.

when ever i try to submit a story I get a message at the top of the screen..... ?
"12/08/00 12:03:48 : Unable to insert story. -- Please notify the administrator if the problem persists."
any ideas...

i had this a long while ago, the only way i could
sort it out, if i remember rightly, was to
complelely reinstall phpweblog, del the database
and all. i dont know how practical that is for
you, esp. if you have a lot of stories.
what version are you using?
