Just a few comments/suggestions from my experience with phpWebLog so far:

  • Put a FocusLogin() JavaScript function in the admin login, so that cursor focus is automatically on password field.
  • Make it possible to turn off the ( # / unmod# ) (4/2) under topics
  • I would also support the idea of having "HomePage blocks only" functionality - it would be nice to give the home a different look than all other pages.
  • Regarding somebody's post asking for user registration: I love it as it is! PhpWebLog is the only app that I know of that lets users post without requiring them to register. *IF* you really decide to implement user registration, it would be best, if that was an OPTION and not a requirement.

Excellent work, Jason (and all the other contributors)!!

I agree, when this thing was first started, I wanted something that was very simply that didn't force user registration. I plan to make the user accounts completely optional so when they are turned off, she would behave exactly as she does now.
