phpweblog woes

I'm having a few problems with phpweblog-0.5.2. First, I've noticed that google doesn't index any of my stories. Second, I've noticed performance degradation over time, ie, the site "seems" slower now than when I first started using it. (I quoted "seems" because I don't have performance measurements.) Guys, I am reading alot of peeps problems regarding the install on weblog. Check out php.ini and make sure this is set to on ; Allow the <? tag. Otherwise, only <?php and <script> tags are recognized. short_open_tag = on

Chaging the Time Zone in phpWebLog

Hi, I need to find out how to change my timestamp to reflect Hawaii standard time instead of EST as it does now. I'm not very familiar with php, so I don't want to screw my site up by going in and hacking away aimlessly trying to make this simple change.
