Hacks to enable automatic links in stories

Hi all,
I don't know if somebody already found that problem in the 0.5.3 release but I think I at least found how to fix it.
There is a problem when typing links in stories without ... , the link is not recognized automatically and [...]

My version of Polls addon. I don't remember if this the same as in phpWebLog distribution but it works ok on my site.

I made a package with "Links" addon (released with phpWebLog 0.5.3) and "Last 5 Links" addon.
I correct a bug which occurs when using the search function in links.php.
This version works fine on my site.
Jason, you can remove it from phpWebLog [...]

I get a mySQL error on the stats page:
